Occupying the formerly vacant and forgotten area underneath Toronto’s Gardiner Expressway, The Bentway is an expanding public space, and vital connector for the growing urban communities that surround it. By nurturing partnerships between the City of Toronto, residents, supporters, artists, city-builders, and dreamers, The Bentway serves as a creative catalyst, leading a creative movement to re-imagine the opportunities of urban spaces.

We’ve worked closely with The Bentway to build a platform that gives their year-round programming, events, art installations and other content a central hub and archive online, and promoting deeper engagement with the surrounding community. The website reflects a fresh and innovative new visual identity created by Superfantasic and provides The Bentway with flexible, customizable components that can be adjusted to suit a complex and evolving array of programming, art curation, community building initiatives, and more.

The Bentway website received Silver in the 2024 Anthem Awards in the category Education, Art & Culture – Digital & Innovative Experiences.
